Working as an Integrative counsellor using techniques and experiences from my training and adapting them to support and fit clients' needs, enabling me to work with a range of clients from aged 10 years to retirement, tailoring the session to help you the client feel comfortable within sessions, explore your thoughts and feelings, allowing you to grow and develop both within the sessions and your personal life.

 

PERSON CENTERED

Providing a space for self-exploration. Person centered is a talking therapy enabling the client to seek a non-judgmental safe space allowing the client to express their point of view, whilst growing and developing a better understanding of self and building toward a greater independence to move forward in a more positive way.

 

CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a directive therapy looking at identifying and challenging your anxieties, unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. Enabling you to develop practical self-help techniques. Learning to recognise when you're spiraling into negative thought processing and understanding your triggers, empowering the client to then use learnt techniques and implement these in day-to-day experiences.

 

NLP

Neurolinguistic Programming is an approach that looks at our unconscious mind and how our thoughts, language and behaviours are connected. With NLP therapy we can identify the negative self-talk, refocus and reframe our thinking, the language we use and develop a more positive you

With NLP as you therapist I would look at using coaching to help you overcome specific behaviours developing your self-talk, use timeline techniques and hypnotherapy enabling you to boost your self-confidence and communication skills to develop a more positive outlook. 

 

PET BEREAVMENT

Animals love their owners unconditionally and the loss of your pet can lead to a spiral of grief, feeling devastated at this loss is just as painful as any other family loss. Talking about your feelings, being taken seriously and understanding that whirlpool of grief and acceptance can take time. Building a way forward is what pet bereavement can offer, a safe space for you to explore emotions and re-build.
