PERSON CENTERED
Providing a space for self-exploration. Person centered is a talking therapy enabling the client to seek a non-judgmental safe space allowing the client to express their point of view, whilst growing and developing a better understanding of self and building toward a greater independence to move forward in a more positive way.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a directive therapy looking at identifying and challenging your anxieties, unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. Enabling you to develop practical self-help techniques. Learning to recognise when you're spiraling into negative thought processing and understanding your triggers, empowering the client to then use learnt techniques and implement these in day to day experiences.
PET BEREAVMENT
Animals love their owners unconditionally and the loss of your pet can lead to a spiral of grief, feeling devastated at this loss is just as painful as any other family loss. Talking about your feelings, being taken seriously and understanding that whirlpool of grief and acceptance can take time. Building a way forward is what pet bereavement can offer, a safe space for you to explore emotions and re-build.
